So, I just got an e-mail with this in it:
this is SO FUCKING NUTS!
Proposition 8 is about writing discrimination into our constitution, which is bad enough. But its clear that proposition 8 has become a microcosm of the weird religious extremism in this country. It's frankly scary. For the first time ever, I feel like my civil rights are in peril and I am not even gay.

Hey Jody, I didn't know if you wanted attribution. On the lighter side, I like how it the issue is cast Light V Dark ( A la "real" America, but racheted up a couple of decibels) hopefully they will just sit around and pray that Prop 8. passes since we both know the efficacy of pray.
